The 12th Collaborative Diabetes in Primary Care Conference took place on Wednesday 25th September 2018, at Silversprings Clayton Hotel, Cork. This conference is organised annually by Diabetes in General Practice (DiGP), Department of General Practice, UCC, the HSE and the IPNA. This year’s conference title was ‘Type 2 Diabetes is a Cardiovascular Disease: Mind your ticker: Timely Intervention for a Healthy Heart”
The Conference was chaired by Dr Diarmuid Quinlan, GP, Chairperson of the Diabetes Subgroup of Local Implementation Governance Group for Chronic Disease and National ICGP Clinical Lead for Diabetes.
The conference was well attended with over 250 delegates booked.
