Diabetes in General Practice (DiGP) is compliant with General Data Protection legislation 2018. Our approach is consistent with the UCC Data Protection Policy. The personal information that we hold on record includes names and addresses, as well as specific contact details for members -mobile phone number, surgery phone number, address and email address. This information is required to send you notification of meetings etc.
Please note that your personal information is used solely for the purpose of contacting practices regarding DIGP work and is not disclosed to any third parties for any reason whatsoever.
Information is stored by hard copy and electronically. The filing cabinets and office are locked when not in use. Computers are password protected and the laptop is encrypted.
If you do not wish us to store your contact details please email Katie Murphy on Katie.murphy@ucc.ie and we will remove your contact details from our list. Please note if this information is removed from our system you will no longer receive notice of our meetings and activities.
